Crochet a Badminton Bouquet 🏸💐

Flowers are lovely, but a bouquet made for someone’s favorite sport feels especially personal. This crochet badminton bouquet is a fun end-of-summer gift for a doubles partner, teammate, coach, or the friend who is always asking for one more game.

I made my version while following a design by Xuxu Crochet. In my free video tutorial, you can watch the pieces take shape and see how they come together as a bouquet.

Before you start

Gather your yarn, a suitable crochet hook, a yarn needle, scissors, and any materials you plan to use for assembling and presenting the bouquet. Choose your colors before you begin: classic shuttlecock shades give it a recognizable badminton look, while a favorite team color can make the gift more personal.

Tip: Keep the first completed piece beside you as a reference while making the others. Matching their size will help the finished bouquet look balanced.

Making the bouquet

Follow the video to crochet the badminton-inspired pieces, then take a little time to arrange them before securing everything in place. Try holding the bouquet from the angle your recipient will see first. If one piece hides another, adjust its position before finishing the arrangement.

This project is just as sweet as a desk decoration as it is wrapped up as a gift. You could pair it with a short handwritten note about your favorite match together—or simply give it to someone who would appreciate a bouquet that lasts beyond the season. 💗
