# Mini Crochet Soda Glass with Lemon Slice 🍋🥤

This little soda glass is a fun way to turn leftover yarn into a miniature summer scene. The stemmed glass, bright drink, contrasting rim, lemon slice, and straw each add a small detail to the finished piece.

You can keep the sunny lemonade colors shown here or use the same idea for a pink strawberry soda or a darker cola. These notes will help you plan the pieces; follow my free video tutorial for the stitches and assembly.

Materials

• Yellow, white, and blue yarn
• A small amount of yarn for the striped straw
• A crochet hook suited to your yarn
• Yarn needle and scissors

Using yarns of similar thickness will make the glass, drink surface, and rim easier to fit together.

Make the glass and drink

Begin with the glass base, then crochet the separate surface that forms the top of the drink. Before joining them, place the pieces together and check that the surface sits evenly across the opening.

The blue rim gives the glass its crisp outline. Keep your stitches even around the edge, especially where the pieces meet. If you are unsure where to insert the hook during the join, pause the video tutorial and compare the front and side views of your work.

Add the stem and summer details

Make the stem and attach it beneath the center of the glass. Set the piece upright before securing everything firmly so you can check its balance.

Finish with the lemon slice and striped straw. Position the lemon at the side of the rim, then insert the straw through the top. Try their placement before fastening the ends: even a small change in angle gives the drink a different look. 🍋
